Where the word comes from
Live action role play describes a hobby in which participants physically act out characters in an agreed fictional scenario. Everyone involved knows the premise is invented; that shared understanding is what makes it play rather than deception.
The abbreviation larp escaped the hobby and became internet shorthand. To larp as something is to perform a role you do not hold in real life. The z ending is ordinary internet stylisation, the same pattern that turns skills into skillz. Larpz carries no separate meaning of its own.
How crypto communities use it
In trading and crypto circles, calling someone a larp usually means accusing them of performing wealth or expertise they do not have. Screenshots of enormous portfolio balances are the classic example, which is why the term attached itself to wallet screenshots specifically.
